The Electronic Provider Assisted Claim Entry System (ePACES)


Do you submit paper Medicaid claims to eMedNY?


Consider the convenience of using ePACES, the Electronic Provider Assisted Claim Entry System! ePACES is a web-based software application free to enrolled Medicaid Providers that allows you to:

  • submit claims
  • verify eligibility
  • inquire about claims
  • request Prior Approval  make dispensing validation system transactions (for Dentures and Sealants)

ePACES offers Dental providers an advantage when submitting a Prior Approval. Providers may submit documents stored in a digitized format (x-rays, treatment plans, charting, photographs, etc.) as electronic attachments to dental prior approval requests when submitted through ePACES. This enhanced feature is currently only available through ePACES.


To enroll in ePACES, providers will need the following:

  • Computer with internet access
  • Valid e-mail address
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Electronic Transmitter Identification Number (ETIN)

After you have enrolled into ePACES, you can request free training from a CSC Regional Representative on how to use ePACES various functions.
