Synopsis:
The focus of this presentation is the art and science of digital dentistry. Cone beam CT imaging is the foundation for the complete dental examination. Take the new patient experience to a new level by providing an interactive, engaging consultation utilizing the concept of co-discovery. Innovative 3D analysis and virtual planning enhances diagnosis and is the basis for improving case acceptance. Gain a thorough understanding of the patient’s maxillofacial anatomy by identifying vital structures, reviewing the dentition, bony architecture, pathologies and incidental findings which provide the clinician with the evidence to move forward with a proper diagnosis and formulation of optimal treatment plants.
Single-visit dentistry and advanced implant and restorative concepts and therapies will be explored. We will also review:
- A chairside digital restorative workflow to optimize a more productive and profitable practice with intraoral scanning and CAD/CAM technology.
- Gaining full control of pre-prosthetic and pre-surgical planning with guided implantology for precise, safe and accurate implant placements leading to positive patient experiences.
- How to design, fabricate and utilize computer-generated surgical guides.
- The use of prosthetically driven implants to replace missing teeth with easy to restore implants while minimizing post-op complications.
- Collaborating with the digital dental lab offers additional opportunities to produce superior treatment outcomes by improving communication and incorporating digital smile design concepts and advanced CAD/CAM restorative options.
- Techniques for immediate practice growth by expanding services with higher productivity and greater efficiency, including All-on-X and teeth in a day.
Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will learn:
- How to incorporate the digital workflow to unlock unlimited possibilities to produce all types of restorations and prostheses.
- A methodology to provide guided implantology, digital dentistry and esthetic smile design within a digital workflow.
