This lecture will begin with an introduction to medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ), including MRONJ definitions, diagnosis and classification and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ update on MRONJ and management. It will also cover treatment of MRONJ and clinical cases will be discussed, with an opportunity for questions. Upon successful completion of this lecture, attendees will:

1. Be able to define MRONJ.
2. Know how to classify MRONJ.
3. Know update practice guidelines.
