Public Education Programs

The Second District Dental Society promotes oral health and consumer education through community education programs of our Oral Health Committee, in partnership with other community service programs or events, and with local schools.

Presentation Requests

Our dentists are available to speak about the importance of oral health. We can attempt to arrange for a member dentist to speak at your upcoming event:

• Group or Classroom (Pre-K to High School)
• Health Fair
• Career Day

The visiting dentist may use models or diagrams, hand-outs and video to teach good dental health habits and other concepts. Unfortunately, we do not perform dental screenings.

February is National Childrens Dental Health Month! This is particularly busy programming month for the local schools. So please keep in mind and schedule your event in advance to allow our volunteer dentists time to make scheduling arrangements.
