Second District Dental Society is here to serve as your first point of contact on all matters dental, whether you are an established practitioner or a new graduate that recently completed training. Continuing Education
An unsurpassed schedule of relevant continuing education courses offered at three convenient venues throughout the year. Attend at members-only rates and in some cases no tuition at all! Any course sponsored by Second District that you take will be automatically recorded for you with the NYSDA Continuing Education Registry.
Sponsored Programs
Peer Review, malpractice claims review, health, life and disability insurance plans, members-only malpractice insurance through MLMIC, and various other sponsored programs and services to help you in your dental practice.
Membership Meetings
Attend our four annual General Membership Meetings for members free of charge and earn up to four hours of continuing education hours a year toward your licensure requirement.

Low Local Dues
The lowest local dues structure of any component dental society in the State of New York. New dentists are eligible for reduced membership dues for the first five years immediately after completion of residency or specialty training.
